This Privacy Policy explains how Craftixel Apps ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use the NovaChat iOS app (the "App"). NovaChat does not require an account or sign-in. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Process
Content you submit. Messages, prompts, voice input converted to text, photos or images you attach, and any resume or career details you choose to add are sent to our server so an AI model can generate a response.
Data stored on your device. Your chat history, saved career profile, preferences and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not store your chat history on our servers.
Purchase information. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but never your payment card details, name or Apple ID credentials.
Technical and diagnostic data. We use Google Firebase services to load app configuration and to receive crash reports and diagnostic information (such as device model, iOS version and app version) that help us fix bugs. This data is not used to identify you personally.
Device Permissions
The App asks for permission only when a feature needs it. You can change these at any time in iOS Settings.
• Microphone and Speech Recognition – to turn your speech into text. Speech recognition is performed by Apple.
• Camera and Photo Library – to let you take or choose a photo to ask a question about. Only images you select are used.
• Notifications – to send you optional reminders and updates.
How We Use Information
• To provide AI-generated responses and the App's features;
• To manage and verify your subscription;
• To maintain, troubleshoot and improve the App's stability and performance;
• To respond to support requests you send us;
• To comply with legal obligations and prevent misuse.
AI Processing and Third Parties
To generate responses, the content you submit is transmitted over an encrypted connection to our backend hosted on Google Cloud and forwarded to third-party AI model providers. These providers process the content only to produce a response, under their own data-protection terms. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your content for advertising.
Service providers we rely on include Apple (App Store, payments, speech recognition), Google Firebase and Google Cloud (configuration, crash reporting, hosting) and AI model providers. Each NovaChat by Craftixel Apps Page 2 processes data under its own privacy policy
Please do not submit sensitive information (for example passwords, financial account numbers, health data or government ID numbers) in your chats.
Data Retention
Chat history and career profile data stay on your device until you delete them in the App or uninstall the App. Content sent for AI processing is kept by us only as long as needed to return a response, and by AI providers only as their terms permit. Diagnostic data is retained as set by Firebase's standard retention periods.
Your Choices and Rights
You can delete individual chats or all chats from within the App, remove your resume or career profile, turn off device permissions in iOS Settings, and uninstall the App at any time. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA or India's DPDP Act), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to processing. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and reasonable safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
International Transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States and India. We rely on their standard safeguards for such transfers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be communicated in the App. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
